We invest in education access, nutrition, skills development, and youth entrepreneurship—helping vulnerable young people overcome economic barriers and build sustainable, independent futures.
Midos Agencies (MA) was established in 1987 as a legally registered, business-driven social enterprise and project management organization. MA is a non-governmental, community-based organization committed to sustainable development and youth empowerment.
Across Africa, many young people are well educated and enterprising, yet face limited employment, part-time work, and small business opportunities after completing school. Global economic downturns over the past decade have worsened this situation, leaving many families unable to meet essential education-related costs such as supplementary school fees and school lunch program contributions.
Youth who leave school also face major barriers to entrepreneurship, including lack of business training, start-up capital, and access to credit due to non-existent credit histories.
In response, Midos Agencies has developed four core programs, initially implemented on a small scale, to address these challenges. Through these initiatives, MA is taking the lead in creating practical pathways that empower youth, strengthen families, and promote long-term community development.
